John and Carrie Morgridge serve as co-founders of The Morgridge Family Foundation (MFF). MFF invests in leaders and organizations that reimagine solutions to some of today’s greatest challenges.
Within the foundation, John and Carrie incubate programs that advance its funding priorities. They have created the Student Support Foundation, a national organization inspiring youth philanthropy, and the Morgridge Acceleration Program, which cultivates an ecosystem of leaders who expand the capacity of the social sector. MFF’s $1.4 million child welfare initiative brings together experts, nonprofits and people with lived experience to find community-driven solutions. MFF Publishing brings awareness to worthwhile causes through nonfiction books, educational tools, comprehensive online reports and far-reaching digital content and campaigns.
Carrie speaks internationally at philanthropy-focused convenings and has twice been invited to the TED stage. She is the award-winning author of Every Gift Matters and The Spirit of the Trail.
As avid athletes, John and Carrie biked the Great Divide, a 2,774 mile trail from Canada to Mexico. Between the two of them, they have completed 17 Ironman competitions and in a typical winter they each ski more than a million vertical feet. They split their time between Montana, Colorado and Florida.
