Morgridge Family Foundation commits funds and leadership to Covid-19 response

The Morgridge Family Foundation commits funds and thought leadership to Colorado’s COVID-19 emergency response; encourages Coloradans to give what they can.

(Denver, CO)- Over the past decade, the Morgridge Family Foundation has developed a track record of investing in leaders and organizations that create transformational impact. In response to COVID-19, the Morgridge Family Foundation is committed to standing with our partners to solve the most pressing issues facing Colorado today.  

The Morgridge Family Foundation is investing significant funds in emergency response efforts. The foundation’s gift is part of an initial 2.8 million dollars that have been raised in the past 48 hours for the rapid response to COVID-19. In addition to financial resources, Chief of Staff John Farnam was asked to join the Governor’s Leadership Committee on the COVID Relief Team where he will share his deep knowledge of Colorado’s non-profit landscape. The fund will be managed by community leaders like Farnam and staffed by Mile High United Way. 

How to Get Involved

During the March 18 press release, Governor Polis identified the immediate need for additional funds, volunteers, and blood donations. Individuals can sign up for all three opportunities at www.HelpColoradoNow.org. 

Resources for Nonprofits

Nonprofits who need additional volunteer support can use the www.HelpColoradoNow.org website to request volunteers be directed to their organization. Mile High United Way will open applications for nonprofits to receive funding in the days ahead.
