John and Carrie Morgridge serve as co-founders of The Morgridge Family Foundation (MFF). Before MFF, John and Carrie were partners in business ventures, athletic pursuits, marriage and parenthood. They founded MFF in 2008 with an entrepreneurial approach to philanthropy and a hands-on style of leadership. John and Carrie ensure that the foundation does great work while creating a positive, empowering culture. Over the past decade, they have been the driving force for MFF’s work and investments in nonprofit partners.
As avid athletes, they biked the 2,774-mile Great Divide trail from Canada to Mexico. Between the two of them, they have completed 17 Ironmans and in a typical season they each ski more than a million vertical feet. It is not unusual for them to invite partners for a brainstorming session over a hike, bike ride, chairlift conference or beach walk. John and Carrie split their time between Montana, Colorado and Florida.
